“According to my parents, I wanted to be a dentist from the age of 8. It seemed easier to stick with this and I started at Newcastle in 1990. After qualification, I began my career in Mansfield and here, in Southwell ,1996.
In 2001, I relocated the practice from Westgate to the Ropewalk. Setting up and growing a new practice with my wife , Rebecca was challenging, particularly when our 2 kids “helped” !
I enjoy helping peoples’ confidence searching for simple solutions to their problems. Of course, we know that people can be worried about visiting the dentist...I believe that this trust is gained over time.
Outside dentistry, I have been a birdwatcher and conservationist for as long as I can remember. As a family, we watch ice hockey (and Ben plays to a high level as a net minder). More recently , I have started running 5km Park runs and some smaller Triathlons, but I can’t yet say I enjoy them”

"I graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2016 and then relocated to the area when my wife started working at the local Brackenhurst campus. After qualifying, I worked in a practice in Newark, where I started as a newly trained dentist and later became Educational Supervisor training the new dental graduates.
When not at work, I enjoy running and taking our dog for hikes in the Lake District.”

Suresh
"I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1987 and came to Nottingham soon after. I worked in dentistry since 1990 and have taken great pleasure in looking after generations of patients since then. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and have attended numerous post graduate courses. I particularly enjoy composite bonding and looking after nervous patients.
Outside of dentistry, I am married with two grown up children. They both live in London, and I look forward to meeting up with them visiting theatres and museums."
